The Role:
- Direct and guide collaborative teams in achieving PCB layout, mechanical engineering, testing, and certification milestones.
- Possess the authority and independence to make critical decisions to achieve objectives related to the project.
- Utilize comprehensive expertise in the field of power supply engineering, adhering to established professional norms and precedents.
- Guarantee the technical soundness and compliance of the design.
- Facilitate communication with clients to relay complex technical details.
- Ensure that the design adheres to the company's internal engineering standards.
- Document design processes in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
- Make certain that the design aligns with budgetary constraints, performance targets, and project timelines.
- Engage in the design process through schematic creation, computational analysis, simulation, and prototype development.
- Develop and implement microcontroller firmware and hardware for power management and control in Power Supplies.
- Design and test circuits, conducting evaluations to verify design robustness and integrity.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the field of Power Electronics.
The Qualifications:
- Must hold a degree in Electronics Engineering.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in analog and power supply circuit design.
- Skilled in designing switch-mode power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) across different topologies, including resonant converters.
- Proficient in magnetic and analog circuitry design.
- Experienced in using schematic entry and simulation tools such as PSPICE, Mathcad, or comparable software.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to international standards for EMI/EMC, safety regulations, and thermal management.
- Knowledgeable in the tooling and manufacturing processes for mass-produced products involving plastics, metals, PCBs, and production testing.
