About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Indirect Tax Manager with strong knowledge of U.S. and international sales tax, ERP systems, and compliance processes, who can lead global tax operations, manage audits, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Direct indirect tax compliance across U.S., Canadian, European, and Australian regions.
- Assess nexus and taxability; update processes based on changing legislation.
- Supervise tax filings, reconciliations, rate updates, and data reviews.
- Guide teams on use tax and input tax credits across jurisdictions.
- Support M&A due diligence and coordinate system integration in MS Dynamics GP.
- Liaise with billing and legal teams on tax setup and registrations.
- Address audits, notices, and assist with appeals.
- Research tax law changes using TTR and similar tools.
- Lead and mentor a six-member offshore tax team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in U.S. and international sales tax
- Experience in tech/software industry and indirect tax engines
- Proficient with ERP systems (MS Dynamics, Great Plains)
- Strong communication and ability to interpret tax laws
- Detail-oriented, problem solver, and team player
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Degree in Business/Accounting; CPA or tax certification preferred
