Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and quarterly closing activities, including variance analysis and reconciliation of financials.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze journal entries, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and manage audit schedules.
- Collaborate with teams to develop forecasts and business plans that align with the company’s financial goals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of company spending, including fixed assets, inventory, direct costs, and overhead.
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) documentation and procedures.
- Work cross-functionally to align financial outcomes with overall business objectives.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPA is required or actively working towards.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in using ERP systems (JDE, Hyperion, or similar).
- Knowledge of US GAAP is required.
- Proven experience working with complex financial models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI.
- Experience with SOX compliance and managing external audits is an asset.
