Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. This role will support monthly reporting, cash flow management, audits, and financial analysis while working closely with the Accounting Manager. This is a full-time 18-month contract with 2 days in the office weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations (payroll, accruals, fixed assets, capital accounting).

  • Prepare adjusting/correcting journal entries and accruals for monthly statements.

  • Assist with weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow reporting.

  • Support year-end audit activities by gathering materials and analyses.

  • Contribute to process improvements, systems implementation, and finance projects.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support financial operations and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ideally in a large organization.

  • Proficiency in accounting systems (AccPac/Sage 300), Excel, and MS Office.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
