About our Client:

This global investment manager located in downtown Toronto is looking for an Azure Cloud Administrator for a full time permanent position. This role comes with an amazing bonus structure along with great benefits.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking.
Resource Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and security.
Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security policies, identity and access management, and compliance standards within Azure.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for Azure-hosted systems.
Monitoring and Reporting: Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance of Azure services.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Administrator or in a similar role- At least 5+ years
Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture.
Hands-on experience with Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and other security tools.
Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable.
